Participants must be registered by first of the month and have until last day of month to complete program (8 hours continuing education contact hours given) Topics will include activities that are designed to familiarize the learner with the Texas Safety Standards K-12 to enable them to remain current on the laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to science teachers in Texas. All activities and the assessment of learning from those activities will be done via internet through the WebCT program. Highly recommended for new science teachers and for any science teacher that has not had similar training in the last few years.
